"I have my panels on the roof and they are working great, I have a southern exposure, the ground mount is better as you can set the exact angle that is required for the best efficiency and for snow removal in the winter, I like the 230 Watts panels, make sure there are no trees blocking the sun, in the winter the sun is much lower in the sky. The Solart Team was great to work with, they were on time and kept you informed through the whole project. I would highly recommend this company. "We have a 40 panel, 7.6 kW system installed on our roof. The roof of our house has unobstructed access to the sky from every direction. We have panels on the East, South and West surfaces. While this is not ideal, it seems to be working just fine. Our system has been on line since January. We got a very competitive offer from Solart. The Solart Group was great to work with, they were on time and kept you informed through the whole project. Now that the snow is gone and the days are longer, we have produced about 50 kWh of power per day. In the summer, I think we'll get close to 70. Our contract with Ontario Power Authority's (OPA) pays us 80.2 cents per kWh. While it is still early to judge, I think the revenue forecast we were given by Solart will prove to be pretty accurate. Our system will pay for itself in about 8 years. We love the look of the panels on our roof. It feels good and so far, there have been no issues with leaks or anything, knock on wood! Until recently, I was still unsure if we had done a smart thing, but now that I see how much electricity we are capable of producing, I am very confident that we made a good choice and a smart investment."

"My experience with Solart from start to finish was great. They assigned a project manager to me soon after I signed the contract. The project manager was efficient and also kept me in the know at each stage of development. The OPA (mIcroFIT) application, municipal building permit and Hydro Ottawa application were obtained like clock work. I had very little to do as all of the applications were done by Solart Group. The workmanship was excellent and the installer was very courteous and efficient. They left my home and surroundings in good shape and also left me a direct phone number to call if I had any concerns. Solart truly provided a turnkey solution. Their after sales service is also great. They have a person continuously monitoring the panels on internet and they also helped me set up my internal meter (EMU) so that I don't have to go outside all the time.
The microFIT program is a great program yielding above average rates of return. I will tell you definitively after I have generated power for a year, for it is still early times. The meter is working and so far I have generated 551 kWh since November 2011, which is in line with estimates given by Solart for a system of my size and for this time of the year. The real production starts from March through to October as the suns angle becomes more steep."
